The International Patients Department provides comprehensive guidance and assistance to international patients, starting from their initial contact until post-treatment follow-up. It answers questions, educates on treatment options, assists with appointment scheduling, and supports administrative matters.
We efficiently plans and organizes appointments for medical consultations, diagnostic tests, treatments, and follow-up examinations for international patients, ensuring a seamless treatment process.
The International Patients Department assists international patients with handling administrative tasks such as invoice billing, obtaining medical reports for their return to their home countries, or organizing travel formalities.
The International Patients Department looks after the well-being and satisfaction of international patients during their stay at GMI and remains available post-treatment for any questions, concerns, or follow-up recommendations.
On November 1st, 2024, from 16:00 to 17:30, the GMI cafeteria will host a symposium dedicated to the latest updates in radiation oncology for genitourinary (GU) tumors.

International Seminar in Cyprus: Addressing Hospital Infections and Antibiotic Control.
A three-day seminar on infection prevention has begun in Cyprus, organized by the European University of Cyprus, the German Medical Institute, and the European Committee on Infection Control. The event focuses on Cyprus's high antibiotic consumption and hospital-acquired infections. With 30 participants from various countries, the seminar includes lectures and hands-on hospital sessions, promoting international collaboration and knowledge exchange on infection control measures.
Congratulations to all participants and organizers for a well-conducted seminar that contributed to enhancing knowledge and skills in the prevention and combat of infections. The seminar provided valuable training on specialized topics in epidemiological surveillance and qualification development, and it strengthened international collaboration in the health sector.
