Prof. Mathias Ronald Warm, with 20 years of experience in oncoplastic and plastic breast surgery, performs over 800 personal surgeries each year, establishing him as a preeminent expert in his field. Certified by the AWO GYN under the Commission for Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery of the German Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGGG), and serving as a senior breast surgeon accredited by the German Cancer Society, his credentials are impeccable. As the chief investigator, Prof. Warm has spearheaded several pioneering surgical clinical trials, including the use of TissuGlu® for drain-free mastectomies, ACP® (autologous conditioned plasma) in breast surgery, and intraoperative nipple biopsies in heterologous NSM reconstructions.
Leading the department at one of Germany’s largest breast cancer centers, Prof. Warm oversees the treatment of more than 650 primary breast cancers and over 200 metastatic breast cancer patients annually. The Breast Cancer Center Holweide, under his guidance, treats over 5500 patients each year, with around 1200 oncological interventions and approximately 400 plastic/reconstructive procedures, underscoring his vital role in advancing breast cancer care and surgery.
